More than 6,000 athletes compete at the Ca Mau Marathon 2025 - PetroVietNam Cup

(CLO) On the morning of November 16, in Bac Lieu ward (Ca Mau), the Marathon - Ca Mau 2025 PetroVietNam Cup officially kicked off with more than 6,000 athletes participating in the competition.

This is also one of the activities of the series of events of the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival, 2025.

With the theme “Ca Mau - Destination 2025”, the PetroVietNam Cup Marathon - Ca Mau 2025 attracted more than 6,000 athletes, including professional athletes and runners, especially many foreign athletes competing in the 42 km, 21 km, 10 km, 5 km and 2 km distance for children.

This Marathon is the first time it has been held after the merger of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces and is also the first time it has been held in the old Bac Lieu province.

According to the organizers, this race was organized to practically respond to the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", while encouraging each person to choose a suitable sport, practice daily to contribute to improving health, building a healthy lifestyle, thereby developing the professional sports movement and mass sports in Ca Mau province as well as the whole country.

In addition, through the race, the organizers want to convey the message, Ca Mau - a safe and friendly destination; a place where nature and peace converge.
