More than 700 delegates attended the workshop to give comments on draft documents of the 14th Congress.

On October 31, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Central Council of Theory jointly organized a scientific workshop with the theme "Contributing ideas to the Draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress".

In his opening speech and introduction to the workshop, Associate Professor Dr. Doan Minh Huan, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, affirmed that the 14th National Party Congress is a major political event, marking a new milestone in the glorious history of the Party and our nation.

The draft documents submitted to the Congress not only summarize the 40-year journey of implementing the Renovation policy but also outline strategic orientations and major decisions to lead the country towards the goal of a rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, prosperity, civilization and happiness.

Commenting, supplementing and perfecting these documents, according to Mr. Huan, requires the participation of the whole society. In which, the scientific community - with its intellectual mission and social responsibility - plays a pioneering role, providing in-depth analysis and creative proposals based on solid scientific and practical foundations.

With that meaning, Associate Professor Dr. Doan Minh Huan emphasized that in the era of artificial intelligence, renewable energy and multipolar geopolitics, our Party needs strategic decisions that not only solve immediate problems but also shape the future, ensuring the Party's comprehensive leadership over the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country, firmly entering the new era.

The workshop is a valuable opportunity for scientists to contribute their intelligence to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, to share their concerns and thoughts on strategic contents presented in the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

Mr. Doan Minh Huan believes that only by closely combining theory and practice, tradition and modernity, nation and era, can we make practical contributions to the Documents of the 14th Congress.

The workshop was held directly in Hanoi and connected online to connecting points in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Can Tho, with the participation of more than 700 delegates who are leaders, managers, experts, scientists, lecturers and students of the academy and theoretical research agencies.

The workshop included two main discussion sessions: The first session with the theme "40 years of Innovation and the results of the 13th Party Congress term" ; the second session "Development orientation and strategic decisions during the 14th Party Congress term".

Opinions say that draft documents need to continue to update the spirit and content of strategic decisions, as shown through resolutions issued in the past and in the future by the Politburo.

Many opinions also emphasized the particularly important role of Party building and rectification in the new term. Improving the Party's leadership, governing and fighting capacity, building a streamlined political system, operating effectively, efficiently and effectively, associated with cadre work, discipline, order and culture in the Party are considered decisive factors to ensure the success of all Party policies and guidelines...
