Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu: The Party's inspection training center aims for standards, linking theory with practice

On the afternoon of October 17, in Hanoi, the signing ceremony of the coordination regulations between the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Central Inspection Committee took place; the announcement of the Decision to establish the Center for Research and Training, fostering the Party's inspection work (referred to as the Center) under the Party Building Institute, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. The ceremony was held in both in-person and online formats.

Attending were Politburo members: Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Professor, Doctor Nguyen Xuan Thang, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; Standing member of the 14th Party Congress Document Subcommittee Nguyen Van Nen.

General Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and other members of the Party Central Committee, leaders of central departments, ministries and branches; Standing Members of Provincial and Municipal Party Committees, leaders of the Inspection Committees of Provincial and Municipal Party Committees directly under the Central Committee; delegates are students of the 2025 Intensive Professional Training Course on Inspection and Supervision Work of the Party Committees of Central Party Agencies.

At the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Trung Y, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, announced the decisions to establish the Center and the Center's personnel work.

Next, comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc and comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang performed the signing ceremony of the Coordination Regulations between the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Central Inspection Commission, aiming to strengthen cooperation in research and training, and foster the Party's inspection work.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized: The Center for Research and Training, fostering the Party's inspection work was established on the basis of comprehensive, close, effective and in-depth coordination between the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics - the National Center for training and research on political theory and the Central Inspection Committee - the leading agency for inspection, supervision and discipline work of the Party. The Center has the task of researching, training and improving the quality of inspection cadres throughout the Party; promoting scientific research, summarizing practices, thereby developing and perfecting theories on inspection, supervision and discipline work of the Party in new conditions.

“Research is one step ahead, focusing on solving complex and emerging problems that arise from practice; aiming for standards and specialization, linking theory with practice, creating a scientific basis for perfecting institutions, contributing to building a team of Party inspection cadres with steadfast political will, pure ethics, high professional qualifications, meeting the requirements of Party building and rectification in the new situation,” the Standing Secretariat emphasized.

Comrade Tran Cam Tu suggested that, immediately after coming into operation, the Center should promptly research and advise the Politburo and the Secretariat to establish a leadership mechanism, direct the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Central Inspection Commission to develop a theoretical framework and training program content to ensure unity of ideology, theory, combativeness and high professional level of inspection staff, contributing to further improving the quality of research, training and fostering of Party inspection work. At the same time, research and perfect the Center's specific mechanism, pay attention to ensuring resources, facilities, regimes and preferential policies to attract and retain a team of good cadres and lecturers.

The Standing Secretariat deeply believes that the Center will be a research address, providing arguments to build a solid theoretical and practical foundation for the promulgation of regulations on the Party's inspection and supervision work; a place to train inspection cadres "as bright as a mirror, as sharp as a sword", "absolutely loyal, united, honest, incorruptible, disciplined and dedicated", worthy of the trust and expectations of the Party, State and people for the Party Inspection sector.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc reviewed that in the history of our Party, there have been training programs on Propaganda, Organization and Inspection work. The Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work for Party organizations and Party members is very important, ensuring strictness and humanity, and requiring specialized expertise. Emphasizing this, comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc expressed his joy when the Politburo, the General Secretary, and the Standing member of the Secretariat agreed to establish the Center, re-establish research, training and fostering activities for the Party's inspection work and deploy training and fostering programs (bachelor, master, doctorate in inspection work). Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc also requested relevant agencies to complete the set of textbooks for teaching as soon as possible, as well as review and select lecturers for teaching, and develop standards for each level of education...

In order for the Center for Research, Training and Fostering of Party Inspection Work to quickly and effectively operate, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang requested the collective leadership, cadres and lecturers of the Center to deploy a number of key tasks. Specifically, focusing on theoretical research and summarizing practical experience on inspection and supervision work of the Party, State inspection, supervision and criticism of the Fatherland Front and the people; developing training programs, textbooks and materials (bachelor, master, doctorate in inspection work) that need to be in-depth, modern and up-to-date; strengthening advisory and consulting activities to build and perfect institutions. The Center must be an agency to help the Academy and the Central Inspection Committee propose amendments, supplements and improvements to regulations and professional processes on inspection, supervision, control of power, prevention of corruption, waste, negativity and training and fostering of inspection cadres in the new era. Along with that is building a team of research staff and lecturers of the Center (both permanent and guest lecturers) to ensure quantity and quality, with sufficient capacity, prestige, and equal to the task...
