According to information from the Ministry of Education and Training, as of 5:00 p.m. today (July 30), the time the online registration portal was closed, the Ministry of Education and Training's General Admission Support System recorded a total of more than 733,000 candidates who had entered their admission wishes, equivalent to 68.5% of the number of candidates registering for the 2024 high school graduation exam.
In 2023, more than 660,000 candidates entered their admission wishes on the System, equivalent to 65.9% of the number of candidates registering for the 2023 high school graduation exam.
Previously, in 2022, the Ministry of Education and Training recorded more than 616,000 candidates registering for university entrance exams, accounting for 64.1% of the number of candidates registering for the 2022 high school graduation exam.
After registering their wishes, candidates must pay the application fee online from July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6.
To avoid overload, the Ministry of Education and Training has divided it into 6 phases for candidates in provinces and cities (where candidates have submitted their applications) to make online payments for university admission application fees in 2024.

From 0:00 on July 31 to 17:00 on August 1: Candidates in localities paying online include: Hanoi, Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La, Yen Bai .
From 0:00 on August 1 to 17:00 on August 2 will be for candidates in the following provinces: Hoa Binh, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Bac Giang , Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Hai Phong City.
From 0:00 on August 2 to 17:00 on August 3: Candidates in the following provinces make online payments: Hung Yen, Thai Binh , Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An.
From 0:00 on August 3 to 17:00 on August 4: for candidates in Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang City, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Kon Tum.
From 0:00 on August 4 to 17:00 on August 5: Candidates in the following provinces and cities can make online payments: Ho Chi Minh City, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh.
From 0:00 on August 5 to 17:00 on August 6: Candidates in the following provinces make online payments: Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long An, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, Vinh Long, Dong Thap, An Giang, Kien Giang, Can Tho City, Hau Giang, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau.
