According to the 2024 university and college enrollment plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, 5:00 p.m. on August 27 is the deadline for candidates to confirm enrollment on the general enrollment support system.
However, through feedback from training institutions and candidates, there are currently some candidates who, when enrolling directly at the school, discovered errors and have not yet confirmed their enrollment on the system.
On August 28, the Ministry of Education and Training announced that, in order to facilitate candidates, the Ministry continues to open a general enrollment support system for candidates to complete admission confirmation procedures.
Candidates log in to the general enrollment support system of the Ministry of Education and Training to complete the online admission confirmation procedure according to regulations. At the same time, please note that this procedure must be completed before 5:00 p.m. on August 31.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, all candidates admitted to universities and colleges of preschool education this year must confirm their admission online on the general admission support system. If the candidate does not confirm their admission, the system will consider that the candidate does not wish to study at the school they have been admitted to.
At the end of the registration period for admission according to regulations, on the evening of August 27, the Ministry of Education and Training informed about the number of candidates confirmed for admission in the first round of 2024, along with data compared with 2023.
Accordingly, the number of candidates registering for university admission in 2024 is 733,652 candidates; the number of candidates admitted on the system is 673,586 candidates; the number of candidates confirmed to be enrolled is 551,479 candidates. The ratio of admitted candidates/admitted candidates is 81.87%.
Thus, in 2024, there will be 122,107 candidates who do not confirm university admission, equivalent to 18.13%.
Compared to 2023, the number of candidates confirmed for admission this year increased by 56,991 candidates.
