Implementing the production and business plan for the second half of 2025, Phu Sang Seafood Processing Service Cooperative (Thien Cam commune) has proactively purchased raw materials for fish sauce production while focusing on marketing and expanding the consumption market. Currently, the Phu Sang 4-star OCOP fish sauce brand along with its floss cream products, fresh and dried seafood products are present in many provinces and cities with revenue reaching 9 billion VND in the first 7 months of 2025.
To achieve impressive revenue growth and create more jobs for local workers, in June 2025, the Cooperative boldly invested resources and opened a fresh seafood restaurant, contributing to the development of local tourism .

Ms. Nguyen Thi Sang - Director of Phu Sang Seafood Processing Service Cooperative said: "The production and business strategy of the unit all comes from making the most of the local potential and strengths with the goal of building a chain of links and diversifying revenue sources. A positive signal is that the restaurant has only been in operation for 2 months but has welcomed a stable number of customers with a revenue of more than 500 million VND/month. In 2025, the Cooperative sets a revenue target of nearly 20 billion VND. Therefore, we are currently focusing our resources on continuing to promote the consumption of seafood for fishermen to serve fish sauce salt as well as to supply restaurant operations. Currently, we continue to survey and connect tours and tourist routes to the communes of Thien Cam, Cam Xuyen, Cam Hung... to create a chain of links and consume products".
Compared to cooperatives operating in the fields of production, trade services, livestock cooperatives face more difficulties, affecting product output and revenue. Therefore, at the end of the year, these units focus on all solutions to maintain stable production and business chains, creating jobs for workers.
Since the end of the second quarter of 2025, Thang Loi Cooperative (Tien Dien Commune) has been under a lot of pressure due to the outbreak of African swine fever, with a high risk of disease intrusion. To maintain a stable production chain, the facility must increase disease prevention costs by 20% and proactively take measures to prevent disease from entering the farm.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nghia - Director of Thang Loi Cooperative said: "We raise 300 sows and 1,000 pigs/litter. On average, the unit exports to the market 500 breeding pigs/month and more than 2,000 pigs/year. This year's target is to achieve revenue of over 12 billion VND. Assessing the situation at the end of the year, the demand for commercial pigs is increasing, in the context of many difficulties when African swine fever is complicated, on the one hand, the Cooperative increases resources to prevent epidemics, on the other hand, maintains the chain of links with farms and businesses to ensure stable output, minimizing the impact caused by the epidemic".
Despite facing difficulties, in the process of realizing production and business plans, the collective economic sector has received support from local authorities, all levels and functional sectors. Accordingly, eligible cooperatives are allowed to rent land to create production and business premises, receive support in science and technology applied to production, and are given favorable conditions for loans to invest in infrastructure and working capital to serve production and business chains...
Mr. Tran Quoc Hoang - Director of Ha Tinh Cooperative Development Support Fund said: "We actively coordinate to advise and support cooperatives in accessing support policies of the State, creating motivation for establishments to change their thinking and production and business strategies. In particular, supporting units to build scientific and feasible operation plans according to the new cooperative model, creating good revenue sources to access bank loans and the Cooperative Development Support Fund. As of early July 2025, the total outstanding credit balance of banks for cooperatives in Ha Tinh is more than 116 billion VND. In addition, to date, the cumulative loan turnover of the provincial Cooperative Development Support Fund has reached nearly 100 billion VND, the loan turnover of the Cooperative Development Support Fund from the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance has reached more than 90 billion VND. This is an important resource for investment establishments to realize production and business strategies, and enhance "made in Ha Tinh" products.
Ms. Doan Thi Nhan - Director of Son Tho Molasses Service Cooperative (Vu Quang commune) shared: "We have just borrowed nearly 500 million VND from the Provincial Cooperative Development Support Fund to buy a transport vehicle. Resources are still difficult, so when we can borrow cheap capital, it is a condition for the cooperative to invest in mechanization and improve the quality of operations. Currently, we are focusing on developing raw material sources with a 37-hectare sugarcane chain to serve the year-end production line, striving to achieve a revenue of more than 1.3 billion VND/year, contributing to promoting rural economic development".
The exciting thing is that currently, Ha Tinh Cooperative products have not only affirmed their position in the domestic market but also participated in export. Specifically, Nguyen Lam sesame rice paper of Nguyen Lam Production, Trade and Service Cooperative (Ky Anh commune) is exported to Russia and Japan; Luan Nghiep fish sauce of Chien Thang Seafood Purchasing and Processing Cooperative (Ky Ninh ward) is exported to Angola and Australia... showing the effective shift from thinking to action of the collective economic sector.

Mr. Le Dang Phuc - Vice Chairman of the Ha Tinh Cooperative Union said: The whole province currently has more than 900 cooperatives in operation, of which more than 50% are direct producers. Compared to enterprises, the collective economic sector still has difficulties in terms of resources, production strategies... To keep up with the demands of the commodity market, cooperatives must continue to change their thinking according to market mechanisms, apply technology to production, improve product quality, build brands associated with innovating packaging and labels according to consumer tastes.
The second half of the year is an opportunity to consume products, cooperatives need to increase participation in trade promotion activities, coordinate to participate in fairs, promote product images on e-commerce products such as: Voso, Postmart, Sendo, Shopee ...; coordinate with businesses to promote products, expand domestic consumption markets and participate in exports.
