Hue to launch high-altitude fireworks at 4 locations to welcome the New Year of the Snake 2025

(To Quoc) - On December 22, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province announced that it had issued a plan for organizing activities to celebrate the Party and the Lunar New Year of the Snake in 2025, including a fireworks display to welcome the new year.

According to this plan, the locality will organize high-altitude fireworks displays to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Snake at four locations, including the city center of Hue and the districts of A Luoi, Phong Dien, and Phu Loc. In addition, a low-altitude fireworks display will be held as part of the New Year's Eve cultural program at 10 PM on January 28, 2025.

Besides the fireworks display, many activities celebrating the New Year will take place in the area with the theme: "Celebrating the country's renewal, celebrating the glorious Party, celebrating the Year of the Snake".

Specifically, the New Year's Eve cultural program for the Year of the Snake (2025) will take place in front of the gate of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Le Loi Street, Hue City, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM on January 28, 2025 (corresponding to the 29th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Dragon).

The New Year's art program for the Year of the Snake (2025) will be held at Ngo Mon Square from 9:30 PM on January 28, 2025 to 12:15 AM on January 29, 2025 (corresponding to the 29th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Dragon and the 1st day of the 1st lunar month of the Year of the Snake).

In addition, there will be ceremonies to offer incense and flowers to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam . Cultural activities, folk games, and sports events will be organized in districts, towns, and cities…/.
