Firefighting and rescue skills and drills at Bai Dinh Pagoda Cultural and Spiritual Tourism Area

On the afternoon of December 9, at the Bai Dinh Pagoda Cultural and Spiritual Tourism Area, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH) of the Provincial Police coordinated with the People's Committee of Tay Hoa Lu Ward and Trang An Investment, Trade and Service Company Limited to disseminate knowledge, instruct skills and practice fire fighting and CNCH plans for officers, employees and workers of the Bai Dinh Pagoda Cultural and Spiritual Tourism Area.

At the program, officers, employees and workers working at the Bai Dinh Pagoda Cultural and Spiritual Tourism Area were informed and disseminated by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department about some legal regulations on fire prevention and rescue; equipped with basic knowledge and skills on fire prevention and rescue; some specific measures to promptly respond to fire, explosion, accident and incident situations on land and on boats at the tourist area. Especially, moving and escaping in smoke and toxic gas environments; how to use portable fire extinguishers to extinguish fires; skills to rescue people who have fallen into the water, techniques to move victims, chest compression techniques combined with artificial respiration, etc.

Many officers, employees and workers of Bai Dinh Pagoda Cultural and Spiritual Tourism Area participated in fire prevention and rescue practice.

Through the program, the staff, employees and workers working at Bai Dinh Pagoda Cultural and Spiritual Tourism Area will gain knowledge and skills to handle fire, explosion, accident and incident situations, contributing to ensuring safety for themselves and visitors during their visits and worship at tourist areas and attractions in the area.
