Guidance on organization, staff and activities of the Provincial and Commune Youth Unions

(CT) - The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has just issued Instruction No. 65-HD/TWĐTN-TCKT on the organization, staff and activities of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at the provincial and communal levels.

Accordingly, based on the decision of the competent authority on the arrangement and merger of provinces, cities and communes and the written proposal of the (new) Party Committee of the same level, the Central Standing Committee of the Youth Union issues a decision to establish the (new) provincial-level Youth Union and appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and key positions of the (new) provincial-level Youth Union. The number of members of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and key positions of the new Youth Union organization shall not exceed the total number of existing Youth Union organizations at the same level before the arrangement and merger (not including the number of those who transfer jobs or who wish to resign).

For communes that are merged, the development of a project to establish a new commune-level Youth Union and the personnel expected to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and key positions are directed and assigned by the new commune-level Party Committee. Based on the proposal of the new commune-level Party Committee, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee issues a decision to establish and appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and key positions of the new commune-level Youth Union. The maximum number of members of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and key positions of the new commune-level Youth Union must not exceed the total number of existing Youth Union bases before the arrangement and merger (not including the number of those who transfer jobs or who wish to resign).
