Huong Khe supports Lao farmers with more than 1 billion VND to develop agriculture

Thanks to many similarities in terrain and land, some agricultural models implemented by Huong Khe district (Ha Tinh) in Na Kai district (Kham Muon province, Laos) have initially developed well.

Implementing the annual Memorandum of Understanding signed between Huong Khe district and Na Kai district to contribute to fostering the special friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, the leaders of Huong Khe district recently had a working trip to present economic models worth 1 billion VND and 100 million VND in support to overcome the consequences of floods to Na Kai, Khammouane province, Lao PDR.

During this period, Huong Khe district supported farmers in Na Kai district with 10 crossbred cows, including 1 Zebu cow...

... gave 1,000 chickens to 4 households.

In addition, Huong Khe district also supports lawn mowers, veterinary medicine and fertilizers, disease and pest control techniques;...

...instructions on building barns, fermenting feed for cows...

Previously, Huong Khe district directly provided technical guidance and supported people in Na Kai district to plant 1 hectare of grass and 1 hectare of biomass corn for livestock farming. Up to now, the models have developed and grown well.

Along with that, support for planting 1.5 hectares of orange trees. The total value of the agricultural support program for Na Kai district is nearly 1 billion VND.

On this occasion, Huong Khe District awarded 100 million VND in support to Na Kai District to overcome the consequences of floods.
