Krong Buk district releases 38,000 fish fry to restore aquatic resources

On the morning of May 27, Krong Buk district held a launching ceremony for releasing fish fry to restore aquatic resources in 10 reservoirs in the district.

At the ceremony, 38,000 fish fry, including grass carp, bighead carp, silver carp, tilapia, etc., were released by the leaders of Krong Buk district, leaders of departments, branches, organizations and local people into 10 reservoirs in Pong Drang town and the communes of Chu Kbo, Cu Ne, Ea Sin and Cu Pong.

The release of fish fry is maintained regularly every year by Krong Buk district. In addition to regenerating aquatic resources and diversifying aquatic breeds and species in local natural waters, it also contributes to protecting and conserving the diversity of aquatic resources and gradually raising awareness and responsibility of people in the work of regenerating and protecting the ecological environment and aquatic resources in the district.
