Krong Pac District: Handing over 16 gratitude houses to poor and near-poor households in Ea Yieng commune

Each house is built according to a sample design, ensuring the “3 hard” criteria (hard foundation, hard frame – wall, hard roof). The total construction area is 36m2 with a total cost of 80 million VND/house.

Handing over the house and giving gifts to the households

The Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Ea Yieng Commune presented handover plaques and gifts to households that were able to build new houses.

At the handover ceremony, Ea Yieng Commune Police presented each family with a gift including a national flag, a portrait of President Ho Chi Minh and some essential items.

According to the approval of the Provincial People's Committee, Ea Yieng commune has 78 poor and near-poor households having new houses built; 63 poor and near-poor households having their houses repaired under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025.

To date, the locality has completed the repair of 63/63 temporary and dilapidated houses to hand over to people for use. Regarding the construction of new houses, in addition to the 16 completed houses, there are currently 50 houses in the process of completion and 12 houses preparing to start construction to ensure handover before June 30.
