Krong Pac District: Development achievements from 3 breakthroughs

Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the District People's Committee Tran Quoc Vinh said that all groups of targets have been achieved and exceeded the Resolution of the 14th District Party Congress. The average economic growth rate in the period of 2020 - 2025 is 10.21%.

By 2025, the budget revenue is estimated to reach 326,625 billion VND, equal to 157% compared to the resolution, an average increase of nearly 13%/year. The total budget revenue in the area for 5 years is estimated to reach nearly 1,442 billion VND. Mobilizing social investment capital during the term is about 9,010 billion VND, an increase of 3,437 billion VND compared to the resolution. The average income is currently 72.89 million VND/person/year. To date, the district has about 400 enterprises, 4,388 individual households and 85 cooperatives operating effectively.

The mark of the past term is that the district has effectively implemented the 3 breakthroughs set forth by the 14th District Party Congress. These are policies and tasks that take into account the long-term strategy for Krong Pac district.

The first breakthrough is in promoting administrative reform, building a team of honest, dynamic and professional cadres, civil servants and public employees; issuing a set of commune-level administrative reform indexes; Digital transformation project of Krong Pac district for the period 2020 - 2025, with a vision to 2030.

Up to now, 16/16 communes and towns have a reception and result return department that meets the requirements of facilities, information technology system, and human resources; receiving documents and returning results, handling administrative procedures in a simple and streamlined manner to serve people and businesses; 100% of administrative procedures under the authority of agencies and units are made public at the reception and result return department on the electronic information page.

The second is to focus on building and replicating sustainable agricultural production models, applying science and technology; organizing production associated with processing and consumption, gradually forming production links according to value chains such as implementing support for large-scale rice cultivation for high-quality rice varieties such as ST24, ST25 with an area of 1,600 - 1,800 hectares/year. The brand "Krong Pac durian" with 2,053 hectares is granted 37 export growing area codes, and is granted a Certificate of Trademark Registration "KRONG PAC DURIAN KRONG PAC DURIAN" by the Department of Intellectual Property ( Ministry of Science and Technology ).

Third, investment promotion has many positive signals with projects that have been and are being implemented such as: Ea Phe - Ea Kuang - Vu Bon inter-commune road with a length of 11,518 km with an investment of over 60 billion VND; Phuoc An town urban housing development project with an area of 17 hectares and a capital of 975 billion VND. Currently, Krong Pac has called for investment until 2025 with 36 projects, with a total expected capital of over 15,798 billion VND.

Up to now, 9 projects have been approved in principle, including: ITVN High-tech Pig Breeding Farm Project, Vu Bon Commune; Tay Nguyen Primary - Secondary School and High School Project; Krong Buk Commune Fruit Processing and Packaging Factory Project; Vu Bon Commune Egg-Laying Chicken Farm Project; Ea Yong Commune Fruit and Agricultural Product Purchasing, Processing and Packaging Center Project; Hoa Tien Commune Packaging and Bag Factory Project; Moonlight Land Cinema Eco-Tourism Project; Hoa An Commune VocationalEducation Center Project.

KD Green Farm Joint Stock Company project has planted 500 hectares of South American bananas in Vu Bon commune. Products are exported to China, Korea, Japan and Europe... creating stable jobs for nearly 1,000 local workers with an average income of 6 - 8 million VND/person/month. Output in 2024 will reach 20,000 tons, revenue over 250 billion VND.

Among the advantages of attracting investment in Krong Pac, transport infrastructure plays a particularly important role. In addition to the "backbone" of National Highway 26, two key transport projects passing through Krong Pac are the Ho Chi Minh road bypassing the east of Buon Ma Thuot City and the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway, which are expected to change the socio-economic landscape. Up to now, the transport routes connecting to the expressway and the inter-commune route of Ea Phe - Ea Kuang - Vu Bon have been invested in upgrading, expanding, and are ready for connection.

Currently, the rate of asphalting and concrete on district roads has reached 91%, commune roads 74%, and village and hamlet roads 43%. Up to now, 100% of villages and hamlets have electricity, 96% of households have access to electricity, and 12/15 communes have met new rural standards. Village elder Y Bhem Knul, in Jat hamlet, Ea Hiu commune, confided: "People are very excited because their lives are changing and progressing day by day". This not only contributes to strengthening the people's trust in the Party and the government, but also creates consensus and strengthens the great solidarity bloc for Krong Pac to continue to develop.
