BHG - On the afternoon of June 6, the Executive Committee of the Quan Ba District Party Committee held a mid-term review conference to implement the Resolution of the 19th District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025. Attending were comrades: Thao Hong Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Colonel Lai Tien Giang, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Hoang Van Vinh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Party building committees; leaders of the District Party Committee, District People's Committee, communes and towns.

Right from the beginning of the term, the District Party Committee has focused on drastically implementing 3 breakthrough contents and 5 key tasks according to the Resolution (NQ) of the 19th District Party Congress, by issuing 18 thematic Resolutions, 6 directives, and 6 projects. After 2 and a half years of implementing the Resolution, up to now, 5/18 targets have met and exceeded the set Resolution, 10/18 targets have met 70% of the Resolution. Successfully built 3/6 communes meeting national new rural standards. The value of industrial and handicraft production is higher year after year. The average gross domestic product per capita is 30 million VND, an increase of 7.5 million VND compared to 2020. In 2023, the poverty rate is estimated to decrease by 7.98%, exceeding 0.82% of the Resolution. The total annual cultivated area is 16,200 hectares, reaching 100% of the Resolution; The value of harvested products/ha of annual crop land reached 57 million VND/ha, an increase of 11 million VND compared to 2020. Implementing the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program, up to now, the whole district has 28 products achieving provincial-level stars. Party building and the political system have achieved many positive results, with over 98% of grassroots party organizations completing their tasks every year; the district has admitted 347 new party members, exceeding the congress' target of 80 party members/year.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Thao Hong Son praised the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Quan Ba district in the past half term. In order to successfully carry out the tasks and goals of the remaining half term, he suggested that the District Party Committee should have specific solutions to implement the targets and tasks that are still low. Continue to innovate the thinking, leadership, direction and management methods of Party committees and authorities at all levels; effectively implement the "4-good Party cells", "4-good grassroots Party committees" in all types of grassroots Party organizations in the whole district, especially the quality of activities and leadership capacity of Party committees and Party organizations in the rural sector. Do a good job in training and fostering cadres; improve the quality of inspection and supervision work.

Focus on transforming the structure of crops and livestock with high economic efficiency. Promote the application of scientific and technological advances in production; promote trade on e-commerce platforms. Promote investment in synchronous development of infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure; strengthen mobilization and attraction of social resources to invest in tourism development associated with the development of typical and commodity agriculture. Promote administrative reform, digital transformation; preserve and promote good traditional cultural values and identities; eliminate bad customs, build a civilized lifestyle. Strengthen national defense and security; effectively prevent and combat corruption, negativity, and degradation in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle among cadres and party members. Do a good job in Party foreign affairs, State diplomacy , and people-to-people exchanges with Chinese localities.
