In the district, there are many important waterway and road traffic routes such as provincial roads (DT): DT761, DT762, DT767, DT768, Thu Bien bridge... which are important traffic routes in promoting trade development and transporting goods between Dong Nai and other provinces and cities across the country.
Upgrading provincial road system
According to statistics from the People's Committee of Vinh Cuu district, in the past time, in the planning orientation for regional connectivity in the area, the district has integrated it into the Dong Nai Provincial Planning for the period 2021-3030, with a vision to 2050. The entire Vinh Cuu district has over 20 provincial and district roads. These roads are being upgraded and repaired by the province and district to facilitate traffic and economic development.
Specifically, with 7 DT traffic routes passing through with a total length of more than 100km, up to now, the province has basically invested in upgrading and repairing such as: DT768, the section passing through Vinh Cuu district is over 37km long, starting from the border of Bien Hoa city and ending at DT767; DT761, starting from DT767 and ending at the center of Phu Ly commune, the route length is over 34km.
Mr. Tran Van Do (residing in Tan An commune, Vinh Cuu district) said that his family lives right in front of DT768, so every day there is dust due to the prolonged road repair, affecting the lives of his family and other households on both sides of the road. Recently, this situation has been resolved thanks to the efforts of the local government.
“Not only DT768, inter-commune roads in the district have also received investment and upgrading, creating conditions for people to travel more easily, contributing to ensuring traffic safety, especially in areas with complicated traffic,” Mr. Tran Van Do shared.
Sharing the same view, Mr. Vo Van Trung (living in Hoa An ward, Bien Hoa city) is a truck driver who transports goods from Bien Hoa city to Vinh An town. He said that recently, not only the DT routes, but also the district and commune roads in Vinh Cuu district have been invested in upgrading and repairing, making traffic safer, especially during rush hours when the number of traffic participants increases sharply, and will no longer be hindered by "potholes" and flooded roads. He himself, when driving a delivery truck on beautiful roads, also helps his work to be more efficient and delivery time faster than before.
Complete district transportation system
Vinh Cuu district does not have a national highway passing through it. The district is mainly connected via major provincial roads and district roads such as Co Cay Xoai road; Vinh Tan - Cay Diep road; and provincial roads: 6,7,9,15, etc.
In recent years, the means of transport circulating in Vinh Cuu district mainly transport goods between the district and neighboring localities such as Bien Hoa city, Binh Duong province, Ho Chi Minh city ... Besides, Vinh Cuu currently has many quarries in operation, providing construction materials for key national projects and works in the province and the southern region. Recently, the traffic volume with heavy loads has increased rapidly, causing some roads to deteriorate and become damaged faster, posing a risk of traffic insecurity if repair measures are not promptly implemented. Therefore, Vinh Cuu district focuses on maintaining and repairing the traffic infrastructure system to ensure the safety of traffic participants, which is increasing day by day.
Deputy Head of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of Vinh Cuu District Mai Ba Thanh said that recently, the district has focused on upgrading and repairing many district roads to ensure traffic connectivity in the area as well as meet the increasing travel needs of vehicles from neighboring provinces and cities through Vinh Cuu District. Some roads and bridges such as Co Cay Xoai Road, Binh Luc Bridge, Chu Van An Road, etc. have just been upgraded by the district to create favorable conditions for people and businesses to circulate and transport goods. In the coming time, the district will continue to implement approved projects, gradually completing the traffic system connecting communes, contributing to ensuring safety, security and order in the field of traffic in the area.
Chairman of Vinh Cuu District People's Committee Nguyen Quang Phuong said that in the province's development plan, Vinh Cuu is identified as a priority area for urban, industrial, and modern, concentrated ecological development. Up to now, Vinh Cuu is a district that meets advanced new rural standards, has a good quality of life, is harmonious, and is friendly to the environment. From the development orientations to the results achieved in recent times in the district's fields, Vinh Cuu has created a solid foundation for the local socio-economic development strategy in the coming years.
