Market last week: Fuel prices increased quite strongly, pork prices remained high

Last week (from June 16 to 20), fuel prices increased quite sharply. Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by VND1,169/liter, up to VND20,631/liter; RON 95 gasoline increased by VND1,277/liter, with a maximum retail price of VND21,244/liter. Similarly, the price of diesel increased by VND1,456/liter, up to VND19,156/liter; kerosene increased by VND1,412/liter, with a maximum retail price of VND18,923/liter; and fuel oil increased by VND1,182/kg, up to VND17,643/kg.

Meanwhile, the price of gold bars skyrocketed at the beginning of the week but then tended to decrease at the end of the week. Currently, the buying price of SJC gold bars is 117.4 million VND/tael, selling price is 119.4 million VND/tael. The 9999 round ring (Hung Thinh Vuong) of Doji Gold and Silver Jewelry Group is currently buying at 11.45 million VND/tael, selling at 11.65 million VND/tael (equivalent to 116.5 million VND/tael).

According to the Dong Nai Market Management Department (under the Department of Industry and Trade), the price of live pigs in localities in the province last week remained high, around 70-74 thousand VND/kg. At class I markets in the province such as: Bien Hoa, Long Khanh, Long Thanh, Phuong Lam (Tan Phu district), the prices of many types of food were quite stable. Specifically, pork belly costs from 150-180 thousand VND/kg, beef fillet from 280-300 thousand VND/kg, shrimp grade I from 180-200 thousand VND/kg, chicken eggs, duck eggs grade I from 24-35 thousand VND/dozen...
