Heat waves form when static (little moving) air in a locality or region causes unusually hot weather lasting from several days to more than a week.
Currently, millions of people on all three continents of Asia, Europe and America are suffering from severe heat, widespread forest fires, and health risks as temperatures continue to set new record highs.
According to experts, the heat waves that have engulfed Europe and the world are not a single phenomenon but several phenomena occurring simultaneously. All of them are intensified and more severe due to one factor: climate change.
