- Over the past period, the Provincial Employment Service Center has organized many job fairs at the commune level, including in remote areas.
remote areas.

Previously, Mr. Duong Gia Luat, from Dong Dang village, Bac Son commune, mainly worked in agriculture locally, with an unstable income. After obtaining a Class C driver's license, Mr. Luat hoped to find a stable job, but was still struggling to find employment.
Mr. Luat shared: "At the job fair held in the commune, I received specific advice on recruitment needs, salary levels, working environment, and was introduced to a job as a truck driver in Bac Ninh province. This month, I will prepare all the necessary documents and arrange my family affairs to go to Bac Ninh to submit my application."
It's not just Mr. Luat; many workers in the province have received advice and information about employment policies. Since the merger of communes (July 1st), the Provincial Employment Service Center has coordinated with the People's Committees of 22 communes to organize job fairs, attracting over 4,400 participants. Through these job fairs, approximately 1,800 workers have been interviewed and found eligible for employment at companies and seasonal work.
Mr. Vi Hoai Nam, Deputy Director of the Provincial Employment Service Center, said: "With the long-term goal of creating conditions for rural laborers to access jobs more easily, we organize job fairs and counseling sessions to help connect labor supply and demand, and support rural laborers in finding stable employment."
The job fairs were attended by 23 businesses from within and outside the province. Here, workers had direct access to recruitment information from businesses, received career counseling and guidance, learned about training programs, and explored policies for working abroad under contract. Organizing these job fairs at the commune level offers many distinct advantages.
Mr. Dao The Dong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thien Thuat commune, said: "Previously, people in the commune who wanted to find out about job opportunities or participate in job counseling had to travel quite a distance. This made it difficult for many workers, especially those from poor and near-poor households and those in remote areas, to access information. Now, job fairs are organized right in the commune, making it much more convenient for people. Job information, labor market demands, and related policies are communicated directly, making it easier for people to understand, access, and proactively choose suitable opportunities. This is a very practical approach, contributing to increasing the employment rate in the commune."
Furthermore, bringing this activity to the grassroots level contributes to narrowing the gap in access to employment services between rural and urban areas; increasing the connection between businesses and local labor sources, thereby supporting labor restructuring, creating sustainable jobs, and promoting local socio -economic development.
In the coming period, the Provincial Employment Service Center will continue to promote labor market information and disseminate information on job counseling, job placement, and vocational training for people of working age; strengthen coordination with communes, wards, recruitment units, professional schools, and vocational education institutions to organize thematic conferences on job counseling, job placement, and vocational training; and monitor the employment and vocational training status of workers after recruitment and enrollment through job fairs at the grassroots level to ensure the sustainable connection between labor supply and demand.
