Since the opening day of the school year, many students have shared the same joy as Trung when computer rooms from socialized sources have been continuously transferred to many schools, especially schools in the province's border areas.
Join hands to bring technology to schools
Comrade Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, said: The achievements of the education sector in recent years are many, but there are still many difficulties that need to be solved. In Dong Nai, there are 45 schools in 8 border communes. Of these, 30 schools are listed in Notice No. 81-TB/TW of the Politburo 's Conclusion on the policy of investing in building schools for border communes. Along with that, many schools in disadvantaged communes are in great need of attention to invest in infrastructure.
To do this, the Party, the State and the province have been implementing many solutions, including surveying facilities, teaching and learning situations at schools; the number of students in communes; resource allocation... Besides the state budget, the province also calls for the community's cooperation to build a modern and favorable educational environment for students in border areas and students in disadvantaged communes.
The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations have mobilized, received and distributed social contributions to schools. Specifically, on September 5, the leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and sponsors handed over 1 computer room with 20 computers to Tan Thanh Secondary School (Tan Tien Commune); 1 computer room with 30 computers to Loc Tan Secondary School (Loc Tan Commune).
On September 9 and 12, the Dong Nai Province Union of Friendship Organizations coordinated with the People's Committee of Tan Trieu Ward and sponsors to hand over a computer room with 46 computers and 24 televisions to Thanh Phu Secondary School; hand over a set of meeting room equipment (including: projector, projector screen and laptop) to serve the learning of students of Phan Chu Trinh Primary School.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hao, Principal of Tan Thanh Secondary School, shared: The school has 690 students. Previously, the school had a computer room, but after a period of use, the room was degraded and only about 10 computers were running. This hindered the teaching and learning of Information Technology. Therefore, when the school was supported with a new computer room, it was a great joy for the whole school.
Currently, the province continues to mobilize social resources to support facilities for schools with the hope of receiving the cooperation of individuals and organizations.
Help students use technology devices effectively
The new computer rooms put into use at the beginning of the school year have made teaching and learning more exciting for teachers and students in schools in the province.
Nguyen Khanh Linh (student of Tan Thanh Secondary School) said: "I am very happy that the school has a new computer room with many computers and a strong internet connection, so it is very convenient to use."
At Loc Tan Secondary School, also a border school in Dong Nai province, Tran Hoang Thanh and his friends are showing each other the functions of single and combination buttons on the keyboard.
Hoang Thanh said: Before, I was familiar with computers but I didn’t use them much so I wasn’t proficient. When the school got a new computer and the teacher guided me, I thought I would quickly be able to use it well.
Le Phat Dat (6th grade student, Thanh Phu Secondary School, Tan Trieu Ward) said: "I have been using computers for 3 years but many other students have never used them before so they are not good at using them. During the learning process, I try to teach them more. I hope that all of them can use computers well to apply the benefits of cyberspace to their studies."
In order to help students use technology devices effectively, Ms. Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, requested schools and local authorities to increase the time students spend practicing on computers; and have solutions to encourage students to improve their skills in applying technology in learning to build a digital environment in schools in border areas.
To do this, each commune and each school needs appropriate solutions.
According to Party Secretary and Chairman of Loc Tan Commune People's Council Hoang Manh Thuong, in order to encourage students to be proficient in using computers, in the 2025-2026 school year, the locality will launch a fast computer typing contest for students of all levels.
Teacher Nguyen Van Hao added: Students' operations on computers are still very slow, they are not familiar with the applications. If you want to be fast, you have to use and explore regularly. To encourage this, on the opening day of the new school year, the school launched a fast computer typing competition. Hopefully, after the launch, students will type faster and be able to use basic computer skills.
Through the connection of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Lac Hong University is very happy to have helped border students at Tan Thanh Secondary School have better learning opportunities with new computers. In the coming time, the school will try to arrange resources to work with the province to bring information technology to schools with many difficulties.

Currently, the province hopes to continue receiving attention and support from philanthropists, agencies, units, and businesses to create the best learning environment for students in border communes.
