International guest delegates at the conference
On July 2, Ho Chi Minh City Open University organized the 8th international conference on business, economics and resources. This is an annual event to create a forum for researchers to present and discuss the latest research works revolving around the fields of business, economics and resources.
With the theme "Breakthrough after the crisis: Unleashing the power of aspiration and innovation", the international conference on business, economics and resources gathered many world- renowned scholars from Australia, Canada, China, Greece, India, Poland, Thailand, the UK and the Netherlands. The delegates shared their research experiences and proposed policies to address important issues for an emerging economic market like Vietnam.
This year's conference has two discussion sessions: Financial Literacy and Mental Health, which aims to introduce advanced academic research focusing on financial literacy and mental health - the most important aspects of civilized life in modern society. The "Sharing is Caring" forum co-chaired by Professor Roger Strange and Dr. Banjo Roxas - lecturer at the University of Technology, Sydney (Australia) - will be a place for young scholars to present their research, receive feedback and update advanced research methods. Thereby, young scholars will hone their skills, enhance their capacity and increase their chances of publishing articles in prestigious international journals.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha, Rector of Ho Chi Minh City Open University, said that the international conference on business, economics and resources is a forum for connecting multidisciplinary and multi-field knowledge to jointly assess opportunities and challenges. From there, propose solutions, overcome limitations, improve socio-economic efficiency through research projects with practical application value and high influence.
