On the evening of the 29th of Tet, the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company announced that on the eve of the Lunar New Year 2025, the railway industry will organize two trains named "Spring Train" with the journey from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa. Specifically, train SE1 departs from Hanoi station at 10:10 p.m. and train SE4 departs from Saigon station at 7:30 p.m. on January 28.
On these two trains, the railway industry arranged two specially designed, unique community cars with the exterior painted with paintings related to traditional cultural activities during Tet such as flower markets, calligraphy, etc. These two community cars are also where community cultural activities take place throughout the journey.
Passengers on this train will be able to participate in many interesting and exciting experiences throughout the journey such as countdown, lucky draw program at the beginning of the year with lucky money prizes worth 200,000 VND, 500,000 VND and the special prize is a voucher to exchange for a pair of free train tickets valid for use in 2025.
In addition, passengers can also participate in folk games and cultural exchanges right in the community car.
Especially on the SE1 spring train, passengers have the opportunity to participate in a “mobile” creative camp on the train with artists from all three regions of the North - Central - South. Passengers have the opportunity to receive portrait drawings, participate in clay modeling, and draw with artists on the first day of the new year...

The railway industry has sold more than 434,000 train tickets for Tet At Ty 2025.
Since October 1, 2024, the railway industry has organized the sale of train tickets for the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025. As of January 28, more than 434,205 tickets have been sold with revenue reaching 361 billion VND.
During Tet, the railway industry regularly organizes 7 pairs of Thong Nhat passenger trains (Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route and vice versa), along with 9 pairs of regional passenger trains.
