Opening of the 2023 Youth and Children's Football Tournament

BTO-On the evening of November 24, the opening ceremony of the 2023 Youth and Children's Football Tournament - BTV Cup officially took place at the Binh Thuan Training, Coaching and Competition Center.

Mr. Ngo Dang Khoa - Director of Radio and Television Station, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament delivered the opening speech

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thuan Bich - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council , along with leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches attended the opening ceremony and watched the football matches .

Mr. Ngo Dang Khoa presented flowers and souvenir flags to the football teams.

The BTV Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament, jointly organized by Binh Thuan Radio and Television Station, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Department of Education and Training, has been very successful over the years. This year, the Binh Thuan Province Youth and Children's Football Tournament - BTV Cup continues to be held with the participation of 21 teams from districts, towns, cities, Binh Thuan Children's House, Le Loi Secondary and High School and Le Quy Don Primary, Secondary and High School , with more than 300 athletes.

BTV Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament aims to encourage and motivate teenagers and children to indulge their passion, while discovering and nurturing young football talents. Regarding the competition format, for teenagers: 12 teams divided into 4 groups compete in a round robin, scoring points, selecting the first and second place in each group to enter the Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals (tied for Third place) . For children : 9 teams, divided into 2 groups compete in a round robin, scoring points, selecting the first and second place in each group to enter the Semifinals and Finals (tied for Third place).

From 2007 to now, the BTV Cup Football Tournament has become a useful playground that teenagers and children have been waiting for. Many generations of players have grown up from the BTV Cup Football Tournament. Binh Thuan has had players participating in the national team, the Vietnam U23 team and contributing to the achievements of Vietnamese football in recent times. In this tournament, the Organizing Committee hopes to continue to discover and nurture young football talents of Binh Thuan in particular and Vietnam in general .
