Summer opening and launching of Action Month for Children

On the morning of May 28, at Tan Dan Primary School, Viet Tri City Youth Union coordinated to organize the Summer Opening Ceremony and launch the Month of Action for Children 2025 with the theme "Prioritizing resources to complete goals for children". Attending were representatives of the Provincial Youth Union, Viet Tri City, Department of Health... and more than 500 students representing nearly 40,000 children in Viet Tri City.

The program is organized as part of a series of activities to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the founding of Viet Tri City (June 4, 1962 * June 4, 2025) and International Children's Day June 1.

The Summer Opening Ceremony and the launching of the Month of Action for Children 2025 are very meaningful activities that demonstrate the attention of all levels, sectors, organizations, parents, teachers and the whole society to give priority to children. In recent times, the work of protecting, caring for andeducating children has always been a priority of the city and has achieved many encouraging results in implementing basic rights and goals for children; the city's children are increasingly protected, cared for, educated better, listened to and respected.

The 2025 Children's Action Month was launched with the main purpose of the whole society joining hands to contribute to the realization of children's rights, promoting the mass movement to care for, educate and protect children. With each specific and practical action, each individual contributes to the Party, State, organizations, families and society to give children a joyful, safe and rewarding summer and bring them love, protection and care, in order to bring the best.

To further promote the work of caring for, educating and protecting children, at the Summer Opening Ceremony and launching the Month of Action for Children in 2025, the leaders of the Viet Tri City Youth Union requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, socio -political organizations, units and specialized departments under the city to orient the organization of activities to improve life skills, prevent accidents and injuries for children; organize visits, give gifts, scholarships, support medical examination and treatment for poor children, children in especially difficult circumstances, and children at risk of falling into disadvantaged circumstances in the city.

The steering committees of summer activities in wards and communes, based on the actual situation, organize the summer opening program, launch the Month of Action for Children in accordance with local conditions, organize communication activities in the community on preventing accidents, injuries, and drowning for children, promptly inform and denounce acts of violence, abuse, and exploitation of children; schools in the city direct the teacher union branches and the Youth Union to coordinate with the Youth Unions of wards and communes to carry out the work of handing over and receiving students to summer activities at their places of residence according to regulations...

On this occasion, the Viet Tri City Children's Support Fund presented 50 gifts to students who have overcome difficulties in studying in Tan Dan, Duu Lau wards and Phuong Lau commune.
