The special exhibition “Song of Peace” was organized by the Hoa Lo Prison Relic Management Board to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. Notably, along with the exhibition activities, on this occasion, the officers and employees of the relic also created many surprises when staging a scene recreating the sacrifice of 8 young volunteers in Bo Trach cave, Quang Binh , in 1972. Through the performance of non-professional actors, the touching story about the dedication and sacrifice of the young volunteers, regardless of danger, to maintain the traffic flow on the vital route during the resistance war against the US, made visitors to Hoa Lo relic and watching the scene moved to tears.

The exhibition “Song of Peace” consists of 3 parts: All for the front line; Opening the way to unification; The country is full of joy. Under the leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh , the North became a solid rear base, devoting all its strength to supporting the front line in the South. Responding to the “Three readiness” movement, millions of young people with the spirit of “Splitting Truong Son to save the country” went to war, leaving behind their youthful ambitions and unfinished dreams.
At the exhibition, viewers have the opportunity to feel the enthusiasm of many young people at that time through many special documents and images about martyr Dang Hong Son; People's Armed Forces Hero Trinh To Tam; veteran Nguyen Tai Trieu - who used blood to write a volunteer application to fight in the South when he was only 16 years old...
Many documents and images about the emulation movement “All for the beloved South, each person works as hard as two” launched by President Ho Chi Minh in 1964; soldiers, doctors, and youth volunteers on the vital road – Ho Chi Minh trail during the resistance war against the US; the Tet Offensive and Uprising in 1968; the Great Spring Victory in 1975, the Liberation of the South, and the reunification of the country, have been introduced to the public.
