Opening of exhibition of typical works, projects and events of Ho Chi Minh City

NDO - On April 26, at the Youth Cultural House, Ho Chi Minh City held the opening ceremony of the Exhibition of 50 typical literary and artistic works, 50 typical construction works and clusters of construction works and 50 outstanding events and activities of Ho Chi Minh City. This is one of the typical activities of the city to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The exhibition is an opportunity for the city's people to look back on that proud journey, through 50 typical literary and artistic works; 50 typical construction works and clusters; 50 outstanding events and activities of Ho Chi Minh City, depicting a creative, integrated and constantly developing city.

Through the program, the Organizing Committee hopes to create conditions for the city's people, as well as domestic and foreign tourists to exchange experiences, share feelings and expectations for the city's development, contributing to attracting a large number of tourists to the city and promoting the economic, cultural and social development of Ho Chi Minh City.

The exhibition area includes area 4A, where the Organizing Committee displays panels, exhibits documentary films, and images of 50 outstanding events and activities, and 50 typical literary and artistic works of Ho Chi Minh City, with the participation, contributions, and dedication of all classes of people and prestigious scientists .

In the front facade area of the Youth Cultural House extending to the exhibition hall and the Youth Theater, the Organizing Committee displays blocks of images and descriptive information about works and clusters of works with parameters and images associated with 50 typical construction works and clusters of works in Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the opening of the Exhibition, Comrade Nguyen Thi Le, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, said that this Exhibition is a typical representative voted by experts and city residents, representing hundreds, thousands, millions of works, events and activities that the city has, is and will continue to effectively implement.

“These results are the clearest evidence of the attention and direction of the city's leaders, the close coordination of departments, branches, sectors, and organizations, the joint efforts of the whole society, and most importantly, the trust and support of all sectors, sectors, and people,” emphasized comrade Nguyen Thi Le.

After the opening of the Exhibition, the Organizing Committee conducted an exchange program with characters associated with 50 outstanding events and activities of Ho Chi Minh City.

It can be said that the 50 outstanding events and activities today are the inheritance and development of the glorious historical tradition, enthusiasm for learning, and dedication of generations of Saigon-Gia Dinh-Ho Chi Minh City people; thereby, encouraging the young generation to strive to build Ho Chi Minh City in the new era of development - the era of the nation's rise.

At the program, the audience had the opportunity to interact with comrade Pham Chanh Truc, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, former Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, Head of the City Youth Union's Traditional Club; Hero of the People's Armed Forces, Colonel Nguyen Van Tau (Tu Cang); Historical researcher Nguyen Dinh Tu; comrade Pham Dut Diem, Acting Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs; comrade Nguyen Ngoc Xuan, Vice Chairman of the Can Gio District People's Committee.

These are the characters who have devoted their lives to the development journey of Ho Chi Minh City, they have enthusiastically contributed to the development of the city. The characters shared with the youth about the difficult but steadfast days and years. The city has had many creative and outstanding solutions, leaving its mark in all fields in 50 years of construction, protection and development; contributing with the whole country to realize the goal of a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness, civilization, industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration.
