Opening of the Consumer Stimulus Week on Ngoc Khanh Service Business Street

Kinhtedothi - On the evening of November 15, the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District opened the "Consumption promotion week for the Ngoc Khanh - Giang Vo Truong walking and service business street in 2024".

"The 2024 Ngoc Khanh - Giang Vo Truong Walking Street Promotion Week to Stimulate Consumption" to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024) takes place from November 15 to 24, 2024 with the participation of 28 units with nearly 30 booths.

The units selected to participate in the promotion week are those that comply well with the State's policies and guidelines on production and business. The goods participating in the promotion to stimulate consumption are guaranteed in quality, have clear origins, and focus mainly on typical agricultural products, organic agricultural products, OCOP products, processed products, consumer goods... of organizations, businesses, cooperatives, and craft villages in the city and throughout the country.

The promotion week is organized with the aim of stimulating consumption, promoting trade promotion activities, expanding cooperation, and acting as a bridge between production establishments and consumers. At the same time, it creates opportunities for trade connection, introduction, promotion and trade promotion; effectively implementing the plan "Action for consumer rights"; creating opportunities for businesses and production establishments to widely promote OCOP products, handicrafts, fine arts, and typical traditional craft villages of Ba Dinh district, Hanoi.

This is also an opportunity to promote trade connections and product consumption between Ba Dinh district, between Hanoi and other provinces and cities, increasing trade value in particular and socio-economic value in general, ensuring safe and flexible adaptation; contributing to effectively implementing the development goals of the district and ward.

At the opening ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Ngoc Khanh Ward People's Committee Tran Thi Thu Quynh hoped that the "Promotional Week to stimulate consumption of Ngoc Khanh - Giang Vo Truong walking and service business street in 2024" would be a bridge for businesses and business establishments in the area to affirm their brands and expand their markets. At the same time, it would be an opportunity for people to visit and shop to know and understand more about "Giang Vo Truong", increasing their pride in the tradition of building and defending the country of their ancestors.
