Discover the legendary Troy hidden in Türkiye

After centuries of mystery, the Hisarlik site in Türkiye was excavated, revealing traces of the famous Trojan War in the Greek epic.

According to records, Troy was continuously inhabited from the Early Bronze Age (around 3000 BC to 2200 BC). It existed for about 4,000 years until two major earthquakes destroyed Troy in 1300. As a result, the once-prosperous city fell into decline. Photo: Shutterstock.
