Inspired by the Hop-on Hop-off model, the Saigon - Tan Dinh double-decker bus route has just officially launched, expanding the inner-city tourism map.

From early morning, many locals and tourists were present to enjoy the journey to explore the city on the newest double-decker bus route, the 5th route to be put into operation in Ho Chi Minh City.

Each new bus route not only creates more travel options, but also contributes to forming a vibrant and modern "on-site tourism" market.

"Everything was great and very interesting. And it was great that we could see all the famous landmarks of the city," commented Tracy Martell (Traveler, UK).

The difference of the Saigon - Tan Dinh route is the journey connecting "urban cultural heritages".

Each trip becomes a "mini tour", combining open space, sound, images and multilingual commentary to tell the story of Saigon past and present.

According to the business representative, the combination of heritage and modernity, between double-decker buses and future Metro lines, is a strategy to create a smart urban tourism network - towards the period 2026-2030.

Departing from Nguyen Hue walking street, operating from 8:30 to 22:30 every day, the Saigon - Tan Dinh bus route has a starting fare of 145,000 VND/trip. A short journey, but brings visitors closer to the beauty of the city's heritage.
