
The program had the participation of Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, musician Do Hong Quan - Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations.
The special art night “Loi ca con mai” is produced by the Vocal Music Department, Vietnam National Academy of Music, performed by Vang Son Mot Thuo, under the artistic direction of Dr., People's Artist Do Quoc Hung - Director of the Academy, Dr., Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan (Head of Vocal Music Department) as General Director, Master Nguyen Thi Bich Hong as production director, and Music Director Han Viet Tu.

At the beginning of the program, Dr. People's Artist Quoc Hung and Dr. Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan, the excellent students of Professor and People's Artist Trung Kien, brought a bouquet of flowers and a book compiled by Professor and People's Artist Trung Kien, and placed them on the top chair of honor, right next to his wife and son, Professor and People's Artist Tran Thu Ha and musician Quoc Trung.

In his opening speech, Dr., Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan, Head of the Vocal Department - General Director of the program emphasized the stature and legacy that Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien left behind, in both the performance and pedagogical fields: "In the flow of Vietnamese music, Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien is a giant, a legendary tenor of revolutionary music. But above all, the great legacy he left behind is the generations of students, the artists who today are still following in his footsteps, bringing Vietnamese singing far and wide. We would like to send to the late Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien our deep gratitude and infinite respect. Thank you, teacher - the one who lit the fire of the profession in the hearts of many generations of students, so that today, each song still carries within it a part of the eternal Lyrics".

In response to the students' sentiments, Professor, People's Artist Tran Thu Ha, wife of Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien, choked up as she expressed her emotion, gratitude and respect for the program. The program is not only a noble gesture, demonstrating the tradition of respecting teachers of generations of artists of the Academy, but also once again recognizing the merits and contributions of Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien in training many generations of talented artists, who continue to shine and glorify the country's music industry.

Professor, People's Artist Tran Thu Ha was also moved to tears when receiving the portrait of Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien and a gift of gratitude worth 100 million VND from the Faculty of Vocal Music to her and her family.
Documentary footage of People's Artist Trung Kien from his youth studying in Russia with outstanding achievements, the times he performed on special stages, sang on the battlefield, images of him in the lecture hall, in his office at the Vietnam National Academy of Music... have shown the audience the beautiful and proud past of a devoted, patient teacher, who devoted his whole life to art and to his students.
Right at the opening of the program, the voice of People's Artist Trung Kien rose up in harmony with People's Artist Quang Tho and People's Artist Quoc Hung in the performance "Chieu Hai Cang" (Russian music).

Not only “Chieu hai cang”, the program “Loi ca con mai” also has many touching moments when continuing to bring the voice of People's Artist Trung Kien into special performances with his students such as “Bai ca Truong Son” (Tran Chung) with Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Trong Tan and Le Anh Dung, “Gui nang cho em” (poem by Bui Van Dung, music by Pham Tuyen) sung by Le Anh Dung.
The program consists of 3 parts: "The origin of scholarly vocal music", "Revolutionary music flow" and "Romantic and contemporary music", summarizing the career and dedication of Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien to the country's music and the role of "architect" in teaching and training vocal music in Vietnam, while also showing the continuation of the musical legacy of the famous teacher and artist.

At the end of the program, all participating artists performed the song "The Teacher" together with gratitude candles shining on the stage like small stars, symbolizing deep gratitude to Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien.

People's Artist Tran Thu Ha and musician Quoc Trung stepped onto the stage, presented bouquets of flowers and hugged each artist participating in the program to thank them. People's Artist Tran Thu Ha could not hold back her tears as she received the affection that generations of students had for her husband - extremely sincere, beautiful and warm affections.
“The Songs Remain Forever” is not only an art program but also a profound gift of gratitude from the Vocal Department, Vietnam National Academy of Music to the family of the late Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien, a gift containing gratitude, respect and sacred feelings that many generations of students send to their teacher.
