Urgently overcome the consequences of the landslide at Khanh Le pass

The Prime Minister sent his deepest condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims, especially the families of those who died.

The Prime Minister requested the Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to urgently evacuate the trapped victims from the landslide area, paying attention to ensuring absolute safety for the rescue force; closely coordinate with the local authorities where the victims reside and relevant agencies and units to promptly visit, encourage and support the families of the deceased; direct medical facilities to provide free treatment to the injured so that they can soon stabilize their health and spirit and return to their families; promptly implement the State's policies and regimes for the victims according to regulations.

The Prime Minister requested to verify and clarify the cause of the incident, especially the compliance with instructions in ensuring traffic safety to strictly handle violations, promptly learn from experience, and avoid repeating similar incidents.

The Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security directed units stationed in the area to mobilize maximum forces and means to overcome the consequences of the incident at the request of the locality; proactively advise local Party committees and authorities in responding to natural disasters and conducting search and rescue according to regulations.

The Ministry of Health coordinated with the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province and relevant agencies and localities to direct medical facilities and mobilize doctors to organize free treatment for the injured.

The Ministry of Construction coordinates with localities to direct the review, inspection, timely detection and warning of areas at risk of landslides on traffic routes; direct the implementation of necessary measures to ensure traffic safety, especially in areas experiencing floods, to limit incidents and accidents.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment directs the monitoring, forecasting, and provision of the most complete, timely, and accurate information on the developments of floods, inundation, and landslides so that authorities and people know and proactively prevent and respond.
