Inauguration and handover of charity houses to poor and disadvantaged fishermen

(QBĐT) - On the morning of May 27, the Provincial Red Cross Society held an inauguration ceremony and handed over charity houses to poor and disadvantaged fishermen in Ngu Thuy Bac commune (Le Thuy).

Implementing the program "Safety for poor and disadvantaged fishermen in 2025", the Binh Duong Provincial Red Cross Society, through the Quang Binh Provincial Red Cross Society, provided financial support for the construction and repair of houses for 5 poor fishing households in Ngu Thuy Bac commune, each household receiving 50 million VND. The supported households are poor, near-poor, and extremely disadvantaged fishermen whose houses have seriously deteriorated and are vulnerable to natural disasters.

Timely support from the "Safety for poor and disadvantaged fishermen in 2025" program of the Binh Duong Red Cross Society has contributed to helping fishermen have stable and safe accommodation before the storm season.
