Inauguration of the Martyrs Cemetery cluster of Dong Do commune

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on the morning of May 1, Dong Do commune (Hung Ha) held a ribbon cutting ceremony to inaugurate the commune's Martyrs' Cemetery cluster.

The Dong Do Martyrs' Cemetery Cluster is a gathering place for martyrs' graves of Dong Do commune and the communes of Hoa Binh and Chi Lang. The project started construction on November 24, 2023. After nearly 18 months of construction, the project has been completed on schedule, ensuring quality, design scale and landscape architecture. The project has a total planning area of ​​2,772m², including the following items: temple, martyrs' graves, surrounding wall system, three-door gate, palm hill and other auxiliary items. The total construction cost is 15 billion VND.

This is a project of special significance, not only as a resting place for heroic martyrs but also as a red address to organize traditionaleducation activities for the younger generation.

At the ceremony, after the ribbon-cutting ceremony, delegates offered incense to express their respect and deep gratitude for the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs.
