On October 17, Nam Lau commune coordinated with the Department of Foreign Affairs, Thuan Chau Construction Investment Project Management Board and representatives of the Indian Embassy in Vietnam to organize the Inauguration Ceremony of the Cultural House of Pung village cluster, Nam Lau commune, Son La province.

The project was solidly built, with a total area of ​​185 m², a total investment of more than 1.2 billion VND, from the aid from the Indian Government's Rapid Impact Fund. After 3 months of construction, the project was completed with all items: Cultural house, yard, fence and some other auxiliary works. The Pung village cultural house is an important community living space for local people, a place to organize meetings, propagate the Party's policies and the State's laws. At the same time, it is a place for cultural, artistic and sports activities, contributing to building cultural life at the grassroots level, strengthening the great national unity bloc.

The inauguration and putting into use of the Pung Village Cultural House is a mark of the spirit of solidarity and cooperation between Vietnam and India in the field of community development, sustainable poverty reduction and enhancing cultural exchange between the two peoples.
