Ma Da Bridge was destroyed during the war, connecting Binh Phuoc Province's DT 753 Road and Dong Nai Province's DT 761 Road. To date, this is the only road that directly connects the two localities, but there is currently no bridge across it. During the survey, Dong Nai Province leaders discussed with Binh Phuoc Province's Department of Construction leaders. In addition, the working group also surveyed other connecting routes to choose the most optimal option to connect the two provinces.

Previously, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha conveyed the direction of General Secretary To Lam to ministries, branches and localities on studying the proposals and recommendations of Binh Phuoc province in investing in expanding the road connecting with Dong Nai province via Ma Da bridge. On February 11, the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province sent a report to the Ministry of Transport (now the Ministry of Construction ) proposing a plan to restore Ma Da bridge to connect Binh Phuoc with Dong Nai.
According to the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province, the Prime Minister approved the planning of DT 753 road connecting DT 741 road in Dong Xoai city to Ma Da bridge as National Highway 13C. The route is intended to connect with DT 761 road at Ma Da bridge to National Highway 1 to Long Thanh airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water port. From Dong Xoai city, follow provincial road 753, cross Ma Da bridge to Dong Nai province, follow local roads to Ring Road 4 through Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province with a total length of 76km.
This is the shortest and fastest route connecting the Central Highlands provinces through Binh Phuoc with Dong Nai. Therefore, the restoration of Ma Da bridge to ensure connectivity with Dong Nai province is very important, necessary and urgent. Through preliminary estimates, the total investment for the Ma Da bridge restoration project is about 5,130 billion VND to ensure a minimum scale of 4 lanes, in sync with the projects being implemented on the routes. Regarding the impacts on the Dong Nai biosphere reserve, through actual surveys, only about 2km of the road passes through natural forests, the remaining 29km is planted forest mainly with hybrid acacia trees.
