According to the Organizing Committee of major holidays of Quang Nam province, the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Quang Nam province and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee were successfully organized; highly appreciated by leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, central departments, ministries, branches, leaders of Quang Nam province and other provinces and cities, public opinion, press and media.
Accordingly, the province has successfully organized 12 large-scale provincial-level activities.
In particular, the support for people to organize activities at the grassroots level and for the first time the province held a large-scale celebration with a special art program and high-altitude fireworks created a joyful and exciting atmosphere, spreading strongly among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life.
According to the Organizing Committee of major holidays in Quang Nam province, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of liberation and the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding, the province spent more than 63 billion VND to support gifts for policy families and families of meritorious people in the province.
In addition, more than 53 billion VND was allocated and supplemented to agencies, units and localities to carry out activities to serve the anniversary (of which, supporting villages and residential groups in activities to celebrate the anniversary is 18.6 billion VND; supporting districts, towns and cities to participate in exhibitions is 850 million VND; spending on activities to serve the anniversary of departments, branches and sectors is 33.5 billion VND).
In addition, the province has mobilized 3 billion VND in socialized resources from businesses inside and outside the province to ensure the organization of a high-altitude flower street shooting program.
According to statistics, there are more than 9,500 news articles, reports, and clips promoting and advertising the event on key central and local press agencies about the commemorative activities.
Quang Nam Newspaper has produced nearly 380 works of various genres in print and electronic newspapers; released two special publications (a 24-page special issue printed in 4 colors and a 60-page Quang Nam Culture publication) to celebrate the anniversary. At the same time, it regularly publishes products on Quang Nam Electronic Newspaper.
Assessing that the celebration activities took place safely, solemnly, thoughtfully, creating a deep impression on the people, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, on behalf of the provincial leaders, welcomed and commended the efforts of all levels, branches, the Organizing Committee of major holidays of the province, localities and units in unanimity, cooperation and efforts to contribute to the overall success of the series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Liberation Day and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee.
At the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 40 groups and 51 individuals who made positive contributions to the overall success of the celebration. Quang Nam Newspaper was honored to receive 1 group and 2 individuals from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on this occasion.
