Opening of the 4th session (special session) of the People's Council of Gia Lai province, term XII, term 2021-2026

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council will review and decide on important contents to promptly institutionalize major policies, issue a number of mechanisms and policies to resolve and remove problems arising in practical management, create a legal corridor, resources and necessary mechanisms to resolutely complete the goals of 2025 and in the following years, specifically: Adjusting the state budget estimate for 2025; adjusting and supplementing the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025; adjusting and supplementing the public investment plan for 2025; stipulating policies to support stabilizing the lives of families and individuals with fishing vessels that are not qualified to participate in fisheries exploitation in the province; regulating tuition fees for public preschool and general education institutions in Gia Lai province from the 2025-2026 school year; Regulations on tuition support levels for preschool children, high school students, and students of general education programs in public and private educational institutions; policies for people working outside the payroll quota at Associations assigned by the Party and State in the province; application and abolition of a number of legal resolutions issued by the People's Council of Binh Dinh province and the People's Council of Gia Lai province (before the reorganization) in the fields of finance, education and training, and a number of other important contents.

Speaking at the opening of the session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Rah Lan Chung emphasized: The contents presented at the session are important and urgent issues that need to be considered and decided by the Provincial People's Council to ensure a legal basis and create favorable conditions for local authorities at two levels in directing, operating, and organizing the implementation of socio- economic development tasks in 2025 and the following years.

The contents of this session have been carefully prepared by the Provincial People's Committee, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures; closely examined by the Committees of the Provincial People's Council and discussed and commented by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council before reporting to competent authorities. To ensure that the session takes place within a reasonable and effective time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the presiding agencies to draft focused presentations, focusing on the main contents of the presentations, clarifying the contents of the Provincial People's Council's resolutions and satisfactorily explaining the issues of concern to the delegates. At the same time, he requested the Provincial People's Council delegates to promote a high sense of responsibility, intelligence and practical experience, taking the lives and interests of the people as a measure when considering and deciding on resolutions. Thereby, ensuring the quality and feasibility of decisions, contributing to effectively promoting resources, promoting socio-economic development, meeting the trust and expectations of voters and people in the province.
