The hypothetical situation is that the fire originated from burning vegetation near a high-risk forest. Upon receiving the report, the Rong Village Community Forest Protection Team and An Lac Forest Protection Station quickly arrived at the scene to urgently deploy fire-fighting measures according to the "4 on-site" principle.

Due to the thick layer of vegetation, dry weather, and strong winds, the fire broke out quickly, spread widely, and was beyond the control of the fire fighting force at the An Lac Forest Protection Station and the Community Forest Protection Team.
Faced with that situation, the Son Dong Protective Forest Management Board reported to the Son Dong Inter-Commune Forest Protection Department, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and the People's Committee of An Lac commune to request coordination in providing additional forces, vehicles, and mechanical equipment to put out the fire.
With unified command, close coordination and high sense of responsibility of the forces and active support of the people, after more than an hour, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished, ensuring safety of people, equipment and vehicles.

At the same time, through drills, the unit propagates to officials and people to raise awareness and responsibility for forest protection.
It is known that, according to preliminary statistics of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in the period of 2020 - 2025, the whole province had 29 forest fires, damaging 119.6 hectares of forests of all kinds, mainly concentrated in the areas of Yen Dung, Viet Yen, Luc Nam, Yen The and Son Dong. Notably, in just the first 4 months of 2025, the forest fire situation in Son Dong area was complicated, with many fires occurring. The main cause was the prolonged dry weather, combined with people burning and clearing forest cover without control, leading to fires spreading, causing damage to the planted forest area, affecting the ecological environment of the area.
