Yen Phong commune women continue to innovate and improve operational efficiency

BAC NINH - On October 26 and 27, the Women's Union of Yen Phong commune held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending were comrades: Nguyen Phuong Mai, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union; leaders of Yen Phong commune and 151 delegates.

After merging 4 units including Cho Town, Dong Tien Commune, Trung Nghia Commune and Long Chau Commune, Yen Phong Commune Women's Union has 23 branches with 7,058 members. In the period of 2021 - 2025, the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era" associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style was launched and widely implemented by the Union. The Commune Women's Union has discovered, commended and replicated more than 58 advanced models and typical examples.

Implementing the campaign "Building a family of 5 no 3 clean", the Association has had many innovations and creativity in conjunction with the implementation of the movements "Green Sunday", "Anti-plastic waste". Registering to carry out more than 150 projects/parts of work to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas. The Association coordinated with the transaction office of Yen Phong Social Policy Bank, TYM Fund .... to support 1,586 members and female enterprises to borrow capital and develop family economy with a capital of more than 90 billion VND. Humanitarian and charitable activities, military rear, building a Warm House, the Godmother program, Accompanying women in the border areas ... were actively responded to by members.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Creativity - Integration - Development", the Congress passed the Resolution for the 2025 - 2030 term, including 6 main target groups and 15 component targets and 2 breakthroughs. In particular, strive to achieve the following targets: Every year, help 1-2 households with women escape multidimensional near-poverty, strive to have no near-poor households in the whole commune by the end of 2027. Improve knowledge and specialized skills for 3 women with startup ideas; strive for 90% of members to use banking applications in electronic payment transactions; help 22 more households meet 8 criteria of "family of 5 has, 3 clean"; register and implement 1 project/part of work, with priority given to family building, improving cultural life, protecting the environment, promoting gender equality, etc.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Nguyen Phuong Mai acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding results achieved by the Women's Union at all levels of Yen Phong commune in the recent period. To complete the targets for the 2025 - 2030 term, she requested the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of the commune to continue to deploy and concretize the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era", associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style among female cadres and members. Make reading culture, digital culture, personal financial skills, and mental health become regular activities of the Union; apply and transform digitally in organizing Union activities and connecting with members and women; actively study and promote the movement "Digital literacy" in residential areas, taking Union cadres and members as the core.

Effectively and deeply implementing the Campaign "Building a family of 5 yes, 3 clean". Paying attention to caring for and building a safe and healthy living environment for women and children; continuing to accompany women members in vocational training, job counseling, supporting women in starting a business, and economic development. Each female cadre constantly improves knowledge, builds an effective Union organization, and adapts flexibly in the new context.

The Congress announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union to appoint the Executive Committee of the Yen Phong Commune Women's Union for the 2025 - 2030 term, consisting of 29 comrades; the Standing Committee consists of 7 comrades; appoint comrade Nguyen Thi Huong to hold the position of President of the Yen Phong Commune Women's Union; the Inspection Committee consists of 3 comrades; 3 official delegates to attend the Provincial Women's Union Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
