Promoting cooperation between the Labor Federations of Bac Ninh and Chungnam provinces (Korea)

BAC NINH - On October 27, the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor had a working session with the delegation of the Chungnam Provincial Federation of Labor (Korea) led by Mr. Choi Jung Hee, Chairman of the Chungnam Provincial Federation of Labor.

At the meeting, comrade Thach Van Chung, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, emphasized that the friendly relationship between the two provinces has been built since 2023. He provided general information on the socio- economic development situation, cultural traditions, especially the strong development of Bac Ninh province's industry, including important contributions from foreign-invested enterprises (FDI), especially Samsung Vietnam.

In Bac Ninh province, after the two-level local government model came into operation, the Provincial Federation of Labor now has 2,450 grassroots trade union organizations with nearly 600,000 union members. Trade unions at all levels have done a good job of caring for and ensuring workers' rights; building harmonious and stable labor relations in enterprises...

The leaders of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation hope that through the working session, they will learn many good methods and good practices in trade union activities of Chungnam Province, creating a foundation for building a close and friendly relationship between the two provinces of Bac Ninh - Chungnam, as well as between the two countries of Vietnam - Korea.

The Chairman of the Chungnam Provincial Labor Federation hopes that after today's meeting and working session, he will continue to create a bridge to promote the close relationship between the Trade Union organizations of Chungnam and Bac Ninh provinces, becoming increasingly close with many practical and effective exchange activities, thereby practically caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers.
