When will National Economics University, Foreign Trade University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology announce admission scores?

TPO - The first round of virtual filtering for university admissions ended on August 17th. The Ministry of Education and Training requires universities to announce the cut-off scores to candidates before 5 PM on August 19th.

Associate Professor Vu Duy Hai, Head of the Admissions and Career Guidance Board at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, said that this year Hanoi University of Science and Technology continues to lead the Northern virtual filtering group. This year, 60 universities are participating in this virtual filtering group, an increase of 2 universities compared to 2023.

Regarding the admissions process at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Mr. Hai stated that immediately after the final round of virtual filtering on the afternoon of August 17th, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will return the results to the universities in the Northern region and simultaneously announce the cut-off scores for the 2024 high school graduation exam results-based admission method.

Associate Professor Vu Thi Hien, Head of the Training Management Department at the Foreign Trade University, said that the university will announce the admission scores according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, before 5 PM on August 19th. Accordingly, the university will announce the final results as soon as it receives them from the virtual filtering system.

Dr. Vu Trong Nghia, Head of Communications at the National Economics University, said that the university will announce the cutoff scores for admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2024 after receiving the final data from the Ministry of Education and Training between August 17th and 19th.

This year, the general forecast from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Foreign Trade University, and National Economics University indicates that the admission scores will not increase dramatically. Some popular majors may see a slight increase, so candidates with scores similar to last year's admission scores can rest assured they have a chance of being admitted.
