Groundbreaking ceremony of Xuan Thien Hoa Binh Lime and Lightweight Powder Factory project

The Xuan Thien Hoa Binh Lime and Light Powder Factory Project was included in the list of key projects of Hoa Binh province by the Provincial Party Committee. The project has a total investment of more than VND 8,000 billion, including the factory with a total capacity of 2.16 million tons/year and the Boi River port with a capacity of 8.2 million tons/year, built on a total area of ​​158.4 hectares in Yen Bong commune. According to the plan, phase 1 of the project with a total investment of nearly VND 3,500 billion, a capacity of 760 thousand tons/year, will be inaugurated in July 2026 and the entire project will be completed in July 2027.

Industrial lime and lightweight powder are essential raw materials, widely used in metallurgy, environmental treatment, chemicals, paints, paper, plastics, rubber, etc. High-quality lightweight powder products are also used in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries with strict requirements, costing up to thousands of USD/ton. Every year, the world market needs hundreds of millions of tons of lime and lightweight powder, worth about 7 billion USD and with an increasing trend. The investment in a lime and lightweight powder factory is a synchronous preparation, proactively providing about 1.5 million tons of input materials each year for Xuan Thien's green steel production complex in Nam Dinh and Chan May economic zone in Hue.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Quach Tat Liem, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, praised the initial efforts of the investor and related units to be able to start the project as planned. He affirmed: The project, when put into operation, will create more jobs and income for local people, increase revenue for the state budget; promote production and business sectors; contribute to the completion of socio-economic development goals according to the Hoa Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, creating momentum for the province's industrial development in the period 2025-2030.

Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of Xuan Thien Hoa Binh Company Limited pressed the button to start the project.

In order for the project to be completed and put into operation soon, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested: Relevant departments, branches, sectors, Party committees, authorities of Lac Thuy district, Yen Bong commune and households in the project area to pay utmost attention and create the most favorable conditions for investors to complete investment and construction, put the project into operation according to the registered schedule. Xuan Thien Hoa Binh Company Limited focuses on capital, human resources, machinery and equipment to speed up the construction process with the highest quality, on schedule, complying with the provisions of law on planning, land, construction, ensuring labor safety and environmental sanitation, minimizing the impact on the lives, production activities and livelihoods of people in the area. Continue to coordinate with relevant units to complete the procedures for granting raw material mine licenses for the factory, building the power system and 110 KV transformer station.

It is known that Xuan Thien Hoa Binh Lime and Light Powder Factory is the initial project, laying the foundation for a series of large-scale investment projects of Xuan Thien Group in Hoa Binh, with a total capital of up to 100,000 billion VND. After the Lime and Light Powder Factory, the Group will continue to invest in the Xuan Thien Hoa Binh Cement Factory project, with a capacity of 10 million tons/year and a complex of high-tech agricultural production projects, raising high-quality pigs on multi-storey buildings with a scale of 3.5 million pigs/year.

The series of projects of Xuan Thien Group, when completed synchronously, will create a new development space, strongly promote the process of diversifying the economic structure of the province, contributing to realizing the goal of making Hoa Binh a developed province in the region and the whole country.

On the occasion of the project's groundbreaking, Xuan Thien Hoa Binh Company Limited donated 1 billion VND to the fund for the poor in Yen Bong commune, Lac Thuy district.
