Groundbreaking ceremony of Truong Hai 110kV Transformer Station project and connection

DNO - On the morning of August 19, in Nui Thanh commune, Da Nang city, the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) coordinated with the Central Power Grid Project Management Board and Da Nang Power Company to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the Truong Hai 110kV Transformer Station and connection project. This is one of EVN's key projects, celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of EVNCPC's establishment (October 7, 1975 - October 7, 2025).

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong, along with representatives of departments and local authorities attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

The Truong Hai 110kV Transformer Station and Connection Project is built in the North Chu Lai Industrial Park (Nui Thanh Commune) with a total investment of 101.46 billion VND. The project includes the construction of a new 110kV transformer station with a capacity of 2x63MVA (phase 1 installs 1 110/22kV-63MVA transformer), a 0.03km long 110kV double-circuit line connecting to the existing Doc Soi - Tam Anh line and 5 22kV line feeders with a length of 5.289km.

The project is invested by EVNCPC, managed by the Central Power Grid Project Management Board, designed by the Central Power Consulting Company and constructed by Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong Mechanical Joint Stock Company.

The project aims to meet the rapidly increasing load demand in Nui Thanh commune, especially serving industrial production customers in Bac Chu Lai Industrial Park, while reducing power loss and ensuring stable power supply for the area. The project is expected to support and reserve capacity with neighboring transformer stations, contributing to local socio -economic development.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong emphasized that this project is a testament to the efforts of EVNCPC and related units in ensuring a stable power source, serving industrial development and people's lives. The city is committed to providing maximum support to complete the project on schedule and ensure quality.

The project has overcome many difficulties from site clearance, mine clearance to completing legal documents and bidding. With a construction schedule of 12 months, the project is expected to be completed and energized in the third quarter of 2026.
