As part of a series of events celebrating 100 years of construction and development of Nha Trang City (1924 - 2024), 15 years of Nha Trang being recognized as a class I city under Khanh Hoa province (2009 - 2024), on the morning of April 2, the Provincial People's Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project to build the headquarters of the Provincial Party Committee, the National Assembly Delegation, the People's Council and the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province.
Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were: Tran Thanh Man - Politburo member, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Tran Hong Ha - Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister; Nguyen Thanh Hai - Party Central Committee member, Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tuong Van - Deputy Minister of Construction ... On the side of the leaders of Khanh Hoa province and Nha Trang city, there were: Nguyen Hai Ninh - Party Central Committee member, Provincial Party Secretary; Nguyen Khac Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ha Quoc Tri - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Tran Ngoc Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Ho Van Mung - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nha Trang City Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and leaders of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
The Project of Building the Office of the Provincial Party Committee, the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee has a total investment of more than 544.6 billion VND, inspired by the bird of peace spreading its wings towards the ocean and the sky; the design axis of the project is determined from the center point of the land towards the sovereignty marker on Truong Sa Lon Island, towards the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland, expressing the desire to master the ocean, to enrich the homeland's sea and islands. The project will meet the requirements of a new workplace for cadres, civil servants, and public employees; a place to organize citizen receptions and receive delegations from the Central to local levels and international friends to visit, work and work, creating connections between agencies, shaping a concentrated working area of the central agencies of Khanh Hoa province. The project, once completed, will become a highlight for the coastal city of Nha Trang, in line with the development orientation of Khanh Hoa province according to Resolution No. 09 of the Politburo on building and developing Khanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045. The project is expected to be completed and put into use before September 2025 to welcome the 19th Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized: "Because this is a project of extremely important significance, aiming to welcome the 19th Congress of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, therefore, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requires the Investor - Khanh Hoa Provincial Development Project Management Board to regularly monitor, closely follow, and grasp the progress of the project; resolutely in management and operation to ensure the progress, safety and quality of the project according to the set plan. At the same time, in response to the affection, trust and expectations of the Party Committee, Government and People of Khanh Hoa, I hope that the construction units will bring all their intelligence, affection and experience; devote all their responsibility and professional capacity to not only build but also breathe life into the product in order to strive to create a project that is truly a crystallization of superior quality, perfect appearance, modernity and identity".
