Comrade Canh Chi Quan, Deputy Head of the Youth and Children's Affairs Department of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, spoke at the seminar.

Speaking at the seminar, comrade Canh Chi Quan, Deputy Head of the Youth and Children's Affairs Department of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, said that in recent years, the Party and State have always paid attention and issued many policies to promote socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

The three national target programs on sustainable poverty reduction, new rural areas and socio-economic development with ethnic minorities and mountainous areas in the 2021-2025 period have opened up many opportunities and created conditions for people, including ethnic minority and mountainous youth, to become economic masters and make practical contributions to the community.

In the context of the fourth industrial revolution, as well as the strong digital transformation process, young people in general and ethnic minority youth in particular with their youthfulness, dynamism and creative thinking need to be given more opportunities to confidently commit themselves, conquer their legitimate aspirations to get rich, and turn their homeland's potential into a driving force for development.

Many agricultural products and traditional handicrafts of young people in the highlands have been supported in promotion, consumption connection, step by step building brands, increasing the value of goods, creating jobs and stable income for young people and local people.
