(kontumtv.vn) – Kon Tum Provincial Youth Union coordinated with Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union to organize the launching ceremony of the “Pink Vacation” volunteer campaign in Dak Koi commune, Kon Ray district on the morning of June 29. This is a meaningful activity within the framework of the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.

At the launching ceremony, Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union and Kon Tum Provincial Youth Union presented many practical gifts, with a total value of more than 300 million VND to the people and children and students of Dak Koi commune, Kon Ray district. Specifically, Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union presented a "Charity House" worth 70 million VND to Y Ha union member in village 9; supported blood pressure monitors and hot oil worth 33 million VND to the people of Dak Koi commune and presented 25 solar bulbs for the "Lighting up the Countryside Road" route, worth nearly 40 million VND. In order to encourage, motivate and recognize the students' efforts in studying, the two Provincial Youth Union units coordinated to present 100 sets of warm clothes and 50 scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND to students in difficult circumstances; presented 400 gifts to children, with a total value of 100 million VND. Regarding the activities in the "Pink Holiday 2024" campaign, Mr. Nguyen Minh Kien, Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union added: " We closely follow the central direction in the linkage movement, linking localities is linking provinces together, linking objects like the Pink Holiday campaign is the objects of civil servants, public employees and linking the community. Many social resources we mobilize from businesses, philanthropists, charity funds, the community spirit is very important for volunteer activities besides the pioneering role of young people. The value of volunteer activities is also the motivation for the community to continue to share and contribute to activities in the coming time."

Along with giving meaningful gifts to the people of Dak Koi commune, the launching ceremony organized many practical activities such as free haircuts, cultural and artistic exchanges, and folk games for children in the area.

The volunteer campaign “Pink Holiday” is launched on this occasion to attract and gather a large number of union members, youth, workers and young laborers to participate, contributing to the implementation of social security work in localities and strengthening the exchange and cooperation between Kon Tum Provincial Youth Union and Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union./.
