Mr. Trinh Tuan Vu, a technical officer of Thanh Hoa Road Management Joint Stock Company 2, said: "The unit is focusing on fixing the negative slope landslide with a depth of 10 to 12m, a length of 128m and affecting the asphalt road surface from 70 to 80cm. To ensure safety for people and vehicles participating in traffic on the route, from October 4, 2025, the unit has mobilized machinery and human resources to take advantage of favorable weather to focus on fixing the incident. Up to now, this landslide point has completed the foundation excavation, and is implementing stone embankment, with the estimated work volume reaching about 40%, we are striving to complete it by early December".

There are 25 remaining landslides on the negative slope, currently 3 at km107+550, km109+620 and km111+190 (in Yen Nhan commune) are being repaired by the unit with machinery, equipment and human resources, with the total volume at the 3 points estimated to be about 15-20%. The unit is striving to complete the repair of these 3 landslides by the end of December 2025. The remaining landslides The unit has not yet implemented it because it is waiting for approval of the solution from the competent authorities.

Road Management Joint Stock Company 2 focuses on overcoming the negative slope landslide at km107+550 in Yen Nhan commune.

Immediately after the damage caused by natural disasters, the Department of Construction directed relevant departments, agencies, units and road management units to immediately implement the work of overcoming and handling traffic congestion according to the "4 on-site" principle on the routes; at the same time, focusing on clearing landslides, road surface deposits, and longitudinal ditches; placing warning signs; barricading flooded and landslide-prone areas to clear the roads... Road management units coordinated with local authorities to organize warnings, barricades, 24/7 on-duty, and guide and divert traffic to flooded and landslide-prone areas causing traffic congestion. At the same time, mobilize machinery and construction equipment day and night to ensure traffic is cleared as soon as possible, no later than 24 hours from the time of landslides and traffic congestion.

Currently, the work of handling and repairing the landslides on the route has been basically completed. For damaged locations of a complex nature (negative slope landslides, landslides on the roadbed, road surface, damaged bridges, culverts, etc.), the Department of Construction has directed and road management units to take advantage of favorable weather to concentrate machinery, vehicles, materials and people to urgently handle and repair damaged locations of a complex nature, with the goal of ensuring smooth traffic and safety for people and vehicles participating in traffic on the route.
