The Billie Jean King Cup Group III International Tennis Tournament - Asia/Oceania Zone 2025 officially kicked off from November 10 to 15 in Lam Dong , hosted by the Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF) with authorization from the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
The tournament brought together 35 female players from 7 countries: Laos, Maldives, Guam, Brunei, Bahrain, Jordan and host Vietnam. The opening ceremony took place solemnly, marking the second time in 2025 that Vietnam was trusted by the ITF to organize a regional women's team tournament, following the success of Davis Cup Group III in July.
According to the draw results, the Vietnamese women's team (ranked 98th in the world ) is in Group A with Maldives (102) and Bahrain (128); Group B includes Laos (99), Guam (110), Brunei (118) and Jordan (139). In which, the promotion ticket is only for the champion team, to go to Group II in 2026.

The Vietnamese team includes Nguyen Thi Mai Linh ( Hanoi ), Ngo Hong Hanh, Phan Diem Quynh, Vu Khanh Phuong (Army) and Dang Thi Hanh (Hai Phong). With their youth, determination and desire to compete for the country, the players are expected to deliver impressive performances, contributing to raising the level of Vietnamese tennis in the international arena.
The Billie Jean King Cup (formerly the Fed Cup) is the world's most prestigious women's team tournament, similar to the Davis Cup in men's competition.
Vietnam's hosting of this year's tournament is an important milestone in the journey of integration and promoting the image of a hospitable and dynamic country to international friends.
