Currently, in the province, departments, branches, sectors and localities are synchronously implementing a peak period of fighting to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights, including the fight against counterfeit drugs, cosmetics, functional foods and medical equipment.
To implement the peak period and maintain the work of preventing counterfeit drugs, cosmetics, functional foods, and medical equipment in the health sector in the coming time, the Department of Health requests medical facilities in the province to urgently review the activities of buying, selling, introducing, and consulting drugs, cosmetics, medical equipment, functional foods, etc. at the unit (especially in departments and treatment rooms) in accordance with regulations.
At the same time, develop a plan to inspect, monitor and prevent at the unit, not allowing fake products, products that do not meet quality standards, or products of unknown origin to be brought into medical facilities; not allowing activities of introducing, informing and consulting fake products, products that do not meet quality standards, or products of unknown origin to patients and their relatives.
Medical facilities actively coordinate with functional forces in inspecting, controlling, and strictly handling the trading and business of fake, smuggled, and unknown origin drugs, cosmetics, functional foods, and medical equipment.
Thoroughly grasp and direct cadres, civil servants and employees to strictly implement regulations, rules and work procedures, improve responsibility and ethics; absolutely do not advertise or introduce false information, information lacking scientific basis or basis, or exaggerate the features and uses of products (medicines, cosmetics, functional foods, medical equipment, etc.) without carefully verifying legal documents related to the product; be responsible before the law if there is any act of advertising or introducing false information, deception or profiteering.
The Department of Health requires establishments producing and trading pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, functional foods, and medical equipment in the province to comply with the provisions of law and competent authorities in the production and trading of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, functional foods, and medical equipment; absolutely do not produce or trade in locations or scopes that are not licensed, produce or trade in counterfeit products, products that do not meet quality standards, or have unknown origins...; do not advertise or introduce products with uses that have not been scientifically proven, uses that have not been approved by competent authorities, or uses that are beyond the nature of the product...
In particular, it is important to note that you can only buy and sell products with establishments that meet the business conditions as prescribed; you cannot buy or sell products without invoices, vouchers, documents proving origin, quality standards, etc.
Actively coordinate and provide honest information to authorities during inspections or in cases where the facility detects signs of violations in the production and trading of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, functional foods, and medical equipment.
The Center for Testing Drugs, Cosmetics, and Food Products shall increase sampling and quality inspection of products at establishments producing and trading in drugs, cosmetics, and functional foods during the peak period of anti-counterfeiting, especially for products at risk of being counterfeited or of poor quality; promptly report incidents to the Department of Health and relevant authorities.
