On October 4, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police coordinated with the Police of 168 wards and communes, and the Board of Directors of schools in Ho Chi Minh City to simultaneously inspect student parking lots in school areas and student parking lots near schools, to check motorbikes (school-age children are not allowed to drive), and check the trunks to see if there are any weapons stored or not, and the use of substandard helmets. Thereby, violators will be notified to parents of the violations, and parents will sign a commitment not to give their children the vehicle when they are not old enough to drive.

In addition, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police also carried out propaganda work, requiring schools to strictly comply with the commitment not to organize motorbike parking for students who are not qualified to drive vehicles, requiring households that park vehicles around the school area to commit not to park students' motorbikes; and to thoroughly handle parking spots that spontaneously park students' motorbikes.
During this time, the forces also simultaneously inspected and screened "tuning workshops", repair shops suspected of "tuning cars", production, manufacturing and trading facilities for spare parts and components serving "tuning cars" in the area under their responsibility to prevent teenagers and school-age children from speeding, weaving, swerving, and gathering to drive and disturb public order.

The Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police said it will continue to focus on inspecting and handling traffic safety violations related to students; coordinate with the inspection of school parking lots and parking lots near school areas, strictly and thoroughly handle violations to create positive changes in awareness and compliance with traffic laws of parents and students.
