Checking preparations for the opening night of the 2023 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival

DNO - On the afternoon of May 31, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh inspected the preparations for the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2023) at the grandstand area, main stage and fireworks assembly area .

Inspecting the actual situation at the grandstand and stage area (Tran Hung Dao Street), the Chairman of the City People's Committee noted that the organizing units, military forces, and local police need to calculate appropriate plans for escape routes, response and handling when unexpected incidents occur, ensuring absolute safety for viewers during the performance nights.

Inspecting the area around the stands, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested that construction units must calculate and create the most favorable conditions for residents and tourists when watching fireworks, ensure security, order and safety in the area, and absolutely not allow street vendors to solicit customers, or sell seats to residents and tourists.

It is known that the DIFF 2023 stage is built with a total area of 1,050 ^m2 , a total stage length of 62m, and a width of 22m. The fireworks viewing stand has a scale of more than 5,000 seats, divided into 3 sub-areas with 8 areas, with a total area of about ^9,500m2 .

In preparation for the opening night on the evening of June 2, fireworks and equipment were transported to the firing range at Han River port and handed over to the teams for installation.

After listening to the report and inspecting the fireworks installation area of the two teams competing on the opening night, Da Nang (Vietnam) and the Finnish team, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts in the fireworks installation progress of the two teams, especially the host team Da Nang.

At the same time, note that the responsible units, consulting units and two teams must ensure security and safety during the installation of artillery at the firing range area.
